Old Recipes, New Tricks (And They're SO Good)

Why these two updated recipes might become your new favorites

Hi foodie,

Lately, I’ve been putting a lot of effort not just into creating new recipes , but also into going back and giving some older recipes the love they deserve. I’m talking fresh photos, easier-to-follow instructions, better tips, and even substitution suggestions—see another example here and here.

This week I want to share two very underrated recipes that never got the attention they truly deserve. They're not just “good” — they’re the kind of desserts that make people stop mid-bite and say “wait… what is this?!”

Blueberry Muffins with Crumble Topping

Moist, fluffy, packed with juicy blueberries, and topped with a buttery crumble — these muffins feel like something straight out of a bakery window. I updated the recipe to make it even easier to follow, added all my best tips for that perfect dome top, and trust me, you’re going to want to make a double batch.

Salted Caramel Brownies

If you’ve ever thought “brownies can’t get better,” these will prove you wrong. Fudgy, rich dark chocolate brownies swirled with homemade salted caramel… they’re gooey in the best way and have that perfect balance of salty-sweet. I tweaked the instructions, simplified the caramel steps, and added extra notes so your brownies turn out flawless.
