The 10 Recipes You Loved Most This Month

Hi foodie,
What a month…
We started April celebrating 9 years of The Cooking Foodie, and somehow ended it celebrating my 37th birthday 🎂 (time really does fly when you’re having fun).
In between, there were a lot of new recipes, updates to old favorites, and something I didn’t fully expect, this month turned into a healthy recipes month, and you guys absolutely loved it.
So here it is…
Your Top 10 Recipes of April 👇
10. Lemon Cupcakes

Published just a week ago, and already getting so much love. Soft, citrusy cupcakes with a lemon curd filling and light frosting, fresh, bright, and perfect for spring.
9. Lemon Cheesecake

A newer recipe—and honestly, one of my personal favorites. Creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced with that bright lemon flavor.
8. Banana Oatmeal Muffins

An older recipe that made its way back into the top 10. Simple, healthy, and perfect for using those ripe bananas sitting on your counter.
7. Nigerian Meat Pie

A classic that keeps coming back. Flaky, savory, and incredibly satisfying, perfect as a snack, meal, or something a bit different from the usual.
6. Healthy Chocolate Cake

Another regular here—and one of your favorites. Soft, rich, and chocolatey, but made with wholesome ingredients. A go-to when you want dessert without the guilt.
5. Oatmeal Brownies

Always on the list. Fudgy, chocolatey, and made with better-for-you ingredients, this is one of those recipes that proves healthy desserts can still feel indulgent.
4. Apple Oatmeal Muffins

A heavily loved recipe that’s making a strong comeback. Healthy, naturally sweet, and perfect for breakfast or meal prep.
3. Viral Doner Kebab

Always a favorite—and for a good reason. It’s one of those recipes you make when you don’t have time to cook, but still want something really satisfying and special.
2. Savory Cottage Cheese Muffins

This one went viral last month—and it’s still going strong. Second month in a row in the top 3, which says everything. Easy, savory, and packed with protein.
1. Cottage Cheese Egg Bake

A brand new recipe that went straight to #1, with almost 80K views in the first month.
I guess the combo of cottage cheese + healthy + high-protein is exactly what you’re looking for right now, and I’m here for it.
If you try one of my recipes, I’d love to hear from you — and see your photos! 📸
Not only does it make my day, but every comment and photo you leave helps my recipes rank higher on Google, which means you’re helping my blog grow and succeed.
