A couple of years ago, I took Thai cooking classes with a local chef, and it completely changed the way I cook and understand Thai cuisine.

We made a lot of classics, but the one recipe that really stayed with me was mango sticky rice.

It’s simple, but when it’s done right, perfectly steamed sticky rice, rich coconut sauce, and sweet, juicy mango, it’s one of those desserts you don’t forget.

I’ve made it countless times since, tested different methods, and this version is my go-to.

Thai Mango Sticky Rice (Easy & Authentic)

This mango sticky rice is creamy, sweet, and surprisingly easy to make at home. Made with glutinous rice, coconut milk, and ripe mango, it’s the perfect balance of rich and fresh—just like the version you’d get in Thailand.
