This week I went back and updated two old favorites on the blog: my Lemon Tart and Lemon Cheesecake Bars. New photos, clearer step-by-step instructions, extra tips, substitutions, and a few small tweaks to make both recipes easier and even more reliable.
Honestly, it was fun revisiting these recipes after all these years. They’re both bright, fresh, and perfect for spring, which also makes them great options for Mother’s Day.

Lemon Cheesecake Bars
These lemon cheesecake bars are creamy, bright, and much easier than making a full cheesecake. No water bath, simple ingredients, and a lemon topping that makes them taste like a mix between cheesecake and lemon bars.
Lemon Tart
