Finally Sharing My Family’s Hummus Recipe
The hummus I grew up eating

Hi foodie,
I’ve been working on this hummus recipe for so long, and I’m ridiculously excited to finally share it with you. As a Middle Easterner who grew up on hummus (like… real hummus), this one is truly close to my heart, it’s basically my family’s go-to hummus recipe. It’s creamy, bright, and honestly… it turns any random plate of veggies and pita into a proper snack dinner.
Hummus: Video Recipe
In the video, I walk you through everything I’ve learned after years of making hummus: tips for ultra-smooth texture, how to get that fluffy, creamy finish, plus two legit options (from dried chickpeas or the quick canned version). I also share serving ideas and toppings so you can make it your own.
And if you watch the video, it means a lot, leave a comment and tell me how you like your hummus (extra lemon? extra tahini? no garlic?). I read them all. 🙌
Homemade Hummus Recipe
Prefer the written version? The full hummus recipe is on the blog with ingredient notes, step-by-step photos, and all my best tips for getting it smooth, creamy, and restaurant-level delicious, perfect with warm pita, crunchy veggies, or as the base of a mezze platter.
If you try one of my recipes, I’d love to hear from you, and see your photos! 📸
Not only does it make my day, but every comment and photo you leave helps my recipes rank higher on Google, which means you’re helping my blog grow and succeed.
So… bake, snap, and share away! ❤️
