I used to think crème brûlée was one of those desserts you only order at restaurants.
You know… the kind that feels fancy, complicated, maybe even a little intimidating.
But once I actually made it at home, I couldn’t believe how simple it was. Just a few basic ingredients, 15 minutes of prep, and suddenly you have this silky vanilla custard with that iconic crackly sugar top.
It’s one of those desserts that looks impressive but is secretly very easy, which, honestly, is my favorite kind of recipe to share.
And today, I’m sharing my go-to version with you.
Easy Crème Brûlée (4 Ingredients!)
Silky smooth vanilla custard topped with a thin, crackly caramelized sugar layer. This easy crème brûlée recipe uses just heavy cream, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla to create a rich, luxurious French dessert that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant — but is surprisingly simple to make at home.
